Step 1 — Question

Every experiment starts with a written question and a way of knowing whether the answer is yes. For example: “Will users complete this ServiceNow catalog request without help?” or “Can an AI tool draft a usable first summary of this kind of ticket?” We agree the question with you, and we agree what result would make you proceed and what would make you stop.

Step 2 — Build small

We build the smallest thing that can answer the question, in a test environment and on realistic material. We keep the scope tight and the time limited. If the question grows, we stop and decide whether to start a new experiment.

Step 3 — Report

We write up what we found, including what did not work, and give a recommendation. We walk you through it and answer questions.

Review

A second person reviews each brief before we start and each write-up before it is shared. This catches unclear questions early and claims that go further than the evidence.

What happens next

If an experiment shows promise, the natural next step is a properly planned project, with testing, documentation and security a production system needs. If it does not, we have saved you the cost of finding out later.
