A place to be curious, on purpose
Oblytech Labs exists because good decisions need evidence, and evidence is cheaper to collect before a project starts than after. We are a small engineering group with a simple habit: state the question, build the smallest thing that can answer it, and write down what happened.
What we work on
Most of our time goes into ServiceNow: prototypes of workflows, portals and catalog items, CMDB data checks, integration ideas and automation of routine platform administration. About a third as much goes into AI, where we test tools and use cases with careful human review. A smaller share goes into Salesforce experiments. We say this openly so you know where our experience is deepest.
What we believe
Questions before code. An experiment without a clear question tends to produce a demonstration, not an answer.
Small on purpose. The smallest prototype that can answer the question is usually the right one. Big experiments are just projects with worse planning.
Report the misses. A result of “this did not work, and here is why” is as useful as a success and much rarer in print. We write ours down.
No hype. We describe what a tool did on our material, in plain words. We do not promise it will do the same on yours.
People stay in charge. When AI is involved, a person reviews what matters, and we say in advance who that person is and what they will check.
How we are organized
Labs is a small group. Each experiment has an owner who writes the brief, runs the work and writes it up. A second person reviews the brief before we start and the write-up before it is shared.
What you will not hear from us
You will not hear us quote results we cannot show, claim accuracy we have not measured or describe an experiment as a finished product.
A note on names
ServiceNow and Salesforce are trademarks of their respective owners. We use those names only to describe the platforms we work on. Oblytech Labs is an independent company.
